We work really hard to ensure our programs are “special” and we go the extra mile to encourage meaningful cultural exchange as well as a great basketball tour. If requested we can add on-tour educational components including but not limited to visits to museums, universities, national historical sites, sporting facilities, professional sporting organizations etc. Due to the Study Abroad side of our business we have university professor contacts all over the USA and can organize for local university visits & lectures from various university professors on a range of different topics suited to your tour.
Regions to visit:
We have previously organized games for Australian teams in the following USA states: Indiana, Illinois, Nebraska, Kentucky, Ohio, California, New York City, Las Vegas, Washington, Oregon, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Washington DC, Maryland, Texas, Louisiana, Pennsylvania as well as Canada & New Zealand.
Tourism Highlights:
** Tourist activities will vary depending on the regions you visit, but sample activities are noted below
- 8-10 games (including one holiday tournament if available)
- After game function/meals with most of the host schools (Great for cultural exchange & building relationships for future tours)
- Sanctioning costs and procedures with USA Basketball, Texas & California State Associations & National Federation of High Schools (NFHS)
- Accommodation: A mix of hotel and local home stays
- Visit & Campus Tour of local college/university
- Local College/University Practice: We will organize for the team to watch a college team’s practice session and do a guided tour of their basketball facility
- Tickets to Sporting Events: NBA game, College basketball game, NHL game, NFL game, and more!
- Guided Coach Tour of major USA cities visited
- Local Attractions: The White House, US Capitol, The Liberty Bell, Constitution Hall, Stockyards Rodeo, US Battleship tours, Fenway Park, Dallas Stadium, Times Square, Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, and more!
- Local Museum visits: The Smithsonian Museums, National Air & Space Museum, Natural History Museum, Pro Football Hall of Fame Museum, NASCAR Museum, The JFK 6th Floor Museum and many more!
- Tickets to local Amusement Parks: Universal Studios, Disneyland, Six Flags, Knotts Berry Farm, Sea World, and more!
- STA Staff based in North Carolina will be available 24/7 to assist with Tour Logistics and provide help as requested

We have worked for many years bringing Australian High School basketball teams to the USA to play in exhibition tours through various regions of the USA. Teams will enjoy great cultural exchange with host schools and have a chance to explore local tourist activities in the regions that you visit.
